The Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) is introducing an opportunity for an individual or group to design a structure in St. George, Staten Island. SIEDC will award $25,000 to the best design that achieves three central goals:
  • Captures and incorporates the culture, history, and geography of Staten Island;
  • Serves as a revenue generating destination location with photo opportunities of New York Harbor, New Jersey, St. George, Brooklyn and the Manhattan skyline;
  • Encourages visitors to venture out of the St. George ferry terminal and into the surrounding neighborhood to engage in recreational and retail activities
