The SIEDC Business Council currently consists of over 30 elite members, each representing a unique industry. The Council meets every six weeks to discuss a full agenda of projects. Current and past projects include, but are not limited to, entry-level job training programs, transportation issues including design and implementation of a light rail system, and most recently a "Keeping Business on Staten Island" campaign. Through this campaign, the Business Council encourages local residents and companies to utilize Staten Island businesses for all products and services.
